These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Carers Month website and your participation in or access to the Carers Month platform. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.
1. About Carers Month Carers Month is a community-led initiative and directory platform hosted by The Healers Community Care Collective (HCCC) ("HCCC", "we", "us", or "our"). Carers Month is designed to help unpaid carers discover complimentary sessions, group experiences, dining opportunities, vouchers, products, and other community offers made available during October 2026. Carers Month operates strictly as an unverified website, information noticeboard, and directory listing platform. Neither HCCC, Carers Month, nor its group administrators, organisers, or volunteers provide, deliver, organise, supervise, manage, or endorse the individual services, sessions, experiences, dining, products, vouchers, or other offers listed on this website. Each offering is provided independently by the practitioner, facilitator, business, organisation, or other third-party provider identified in the relevant listing ("Provider"). Bookings, arrangements, and participation are directly between the carer and the relevant Provider.
2. Independent Providers Providers listed on Carers Month are independent third parties. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Provider is not an employee, partner, joint venturer, agent, representative, or contractor of Carers Month or HCCC. Carers Month and HCCC do not employ, supervise, direct, or control Providers in relation to the services or experiences they provide. The inclusion or display of a Provider or offering on the Carers Month website does not create a partnership, agency, employment, sponsorship, endorsement, or other legal relationship between HCCC or Carers Month and that Provider.

The Provider is solely responsible for communicating with you about their offering, including availability, bookings, cancellations, suitability, health requirements, venue safety, preparation, and delivery of the offering. Any contract or agreement formed in relation to the actual service, session, experience, product, voucher, meal, or other offering is strictly between you and the relevant Provider.

they do not make false, misleading, unsupported, or prohibited claims about their services or outcomes.
7. No Endorsement, Vetting, or Guarantee The publication, display, or inclusion of a Provider or offering on the Carers Month website is for information distribution only and does not constitute an endorsement, accreditation, recommendation, sponsorship, certification, or guarantee by Carers Month or HCCC. Carers Month or HCCC may request basic administrative details or verification from Providers as part of its directory onboarding process. Any such requests are administrative only and must not be understood as a formal vetting process or a guarantee of a Provider's competence, suitability, safety, insurance coverage, or legal compliance.
8. Information Supplied by Providers Provider listings published on the website are based entirely on information supplied directly by the Provider. Carers Month may edit supplied text for formatting, consistency, brevity, or clarity, but does not independently verify or audit statements made by Providers. Providers remain solely responsible for the accuracy and currency of their information. Carers Month and HCCC reserve the right to remove or amend information where they reasonably consider information to be inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, outdated, or otherwise unsuitable for publication.
9. Your Own Enquiries and Due Diligence You must exercise your own judgment, conduct your own enquiries, and perform your own due diligence before booking or participating in any listed offering. You are strongly advised to ask the Provider directly about:

10. Health and Wellbeing Offerings Certain offerings listed on Carers Month may involve health, wellness, complementary therapies, energy work, movement, bodywork, relaxation, or recreational activities. Neither Carers Month nor HCCC is a healthcare or medical provider, and neither provides medical, health, therapeutic, or psychological advice. Information published on the website is general in nature and must never be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Providers are solely responsible for ensuring that any health-related claims or services they offer comply with applicable public health orders, therapeutic goods legislation, and national health practitioner regulations.
11. One Free 1:1 Session Per Carer To give as many carers as possible the opportunity to participate, each carer may book a maximum of one (1) free 1:1 individual session listed through Carers Month during October 2026. This limit applies specifically to free individual 1:1 sessions. It does not restrict a carer from participating in open group experiences, dining opportunities, vouchers, products, or other community offers listed, subject to availability and any specific terms attached by the Provider. Carers Month and HCCC reserve the right to cancel or request that a Provider cancel a booking where it reasonably suspects that this one-session limit is being circumvented.
12. Group Experiences Group experiences listed on the platform are managed and conducted independently by the relevant facilitator or Provider. The Provider is solely responsible for the organisation, safety, venue, content, accessibility, and management of the group experience. Carers Month and HCCC do not attend, supervise, or control group environments. Participants acknowledge that group settings involve interaction with third parties and that Carers Month, HCCC, and its group administrators, organisers, and volunteers accept no responsibility or liability for the behavior, conduct, or actions of other attendees.

Participants must communicate all dietary requirements, allergies, and intolerances directly to the Provider prior to attending or consuming food.
14. Products, Vouchers, and Promotional Offers Where a Provider offers a product, voucher, gift card, discount, or merchandise, that Provider is solely responsible for fulfilling that offer. The Provider is responsible for clearly communicating all terms including scope, exclusions, expiry dates, redemption methods, postage/delivery, and refund/exchange policies.
15. Bookings and Cancellations All bookings, appointments, and attendance arrangements are made directly between you and the Provider. Carers Month and HCCC are not responsible for a Provider's failure to honour a booking, late arrival, venue change, or session cancellation. If an offering is cancelled or unavailable, you must resolve the matter directly with the Provider.
16. Participant Conduct Participants must behave respectfully, lawfully, and appropriately when interacting with Providers, venue staff, and other participants. Carers Month and HCCC reserve the right to block, restrict, or ban any person from using the website or directory platform who engages in abusive, harassing, discriminatory, fraudulent, offensive, or inappropriate behavior.
17. Removal or Suspension of Directory Listings Carers Month and HCCC reserve the complete right to decline, suspend, edit, or permanently remove any Provider or listing from the website at any time without prior notice if they reasonably consider that:

While you may notify Carers Month or HCCC of concerns regarding a Provider listing, Carers Month and HCCC are under no obligation to investigate, arbitrate, mediate, or resolve disputes between participants and independent Providers.
19. Website Availability and Changes Carers Month and HCCC strive to maintain website availability but do not guarantee that the website will operate uninterrupted, error-free, securely, or free of viruses. Carers Month and HCCC reserve the right to alter, suspend, re-design, or discontinue any feature, page, or service on the website at any time without notice or liability.
20. Third-Party Links and Resources This website contains external links to third-party websites, social media channels, booking systems, and forms. Carers Month and HCCC have no control over external platforms and are not responsible for their content, security, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability. Accessing external links is entirely at your own risk.
21. Intellectual Property All content created by Carers Month or HCCC for this website—including overall site design, branding, original text, graphics, logos, and software—is owned by or licensed to HCCC and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Providers who supply logos, text, imagery, or promotional media grant Carers Month and HCCC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, modify, and publish those materials on the website and social media channels solely for operating the directory. 25. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any statutory right, guarantee, warranty, or remedy available under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) / Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
